A Spanish technological centre is looking for SME/Large companies producing salmon to participate in a H2020 project aimed to develop solutions that increase the shelf-life of a selection of food products. The role of the centre is to improve the end-of-life of the packaging and they seek companies to validate the bio-based packaging proposed, preferably non-Spanish.

A UK University is coordinating the submission of a proposal toward the BBI 2016.R9 topic under the Bio Based Industries call. The project will create an innovative, economically viable and commercially focused bio based value chain for the production of high value products from microalgae. An end user of polyunsaturated fatty acids and functional polysaccharides is sought to complete the consortium. The end user may require these for encapsulation, functional foods and or nutraceuticals.
